  Wow can you believe great coffee exists in a small town in the middle of Nova Scotia, some of the best coffee I've ever had. Micro roasters are the way to go, has a double espresso long and it was fantastic. Bought a bag of beans to go and had some today, so so good. Support local business in Canada, you can order on line from them. Great little cafe and the stff was great.

  So glad we went out of our way to stop in on the magical community of Bear River. Even happier yet to find a cute spot featuring great local art serving delicious coffee, a much welcome change after drinking Tim Hortons on our NS road trip.

  John and Erin are warm and sweet owners who welcomed us to a tour of their roasting facility behind the storefront in Bear River. They have put thought and intention into every picture and word on each bag! They use Sissiboo Coffee Roaster Cafe as a location to bring the community together, and in doing so have become a hub of the town. At then end of our time with John and Erin, we left feeling honored to have glimpsed into the life of Bear River. Oh, and the coffee? Fantastic.

  My wife and I loved Sissiboo and will visit again next time we're in NS. John (the owner) was such an excellent host and showed us around the whole shop!

  Small quite cafe with hot coffee made right on the spot. Great WiFi. Clean and urban sorts decor with owner putting lots of effort to be green with different recycle bins and compost.
